Police are investigating the incident where a car crashed into a group of people in front of a restaurant.
The police in Thanh Vinh ward, Nghe An province, are investigating an incident in which a driver crashed his car into a group of people standing in front of a restaurant, resulting in one person suffering a broken leg.
On May 25th, information from the Thanh Vinh Ward Police indicated that the unit had received the case and was coordinating with relevant forces to verify and clarify the cause, circumstances, and responsibilities of those involved.
According to initial information, at approximately 10:30 PM on May 24th, in front of a restaurant in Vinh Central Park, Thanh Vinh Ward, a young man driving a white Mazda car with license plate 37K-713.xx crashed into a group of people standing in front of the restaurant.
Earlier, during a meal at the restaurant, a conflict and verbal altercation allegedly occurred between some individuals. Afterwards, the young man went outside, got into his car, and drove it towards the group of people in front of the restaurant.
According to a video recorded by a bystander, the car plowed into the crowd, hitting a person standing near the front of the vehicle and injuring them. After the incident, the driver fled the scene.
The victim was taken to Vinh City General Hospital for emergency treatment. After examination and X-rays, it was determined that the person had a fractured lower leg and minor head injuries. Following initial first aid, the family requested a transfer to Nghe An Friendship General Hospital for further treatment.
The incident, after appearing on social media, has caused widespread outrage. The Thanh Vinh Ward Police are currently continuing to verify and investigate the case to handle it according to the law.
