Enhancing the skills of cadres and Party members in protecting the Party's ideological foundation in Nghe An province.
On the morning of May 26th, the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies organized a training conference on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2026 for cadres and Party members throughout the Party organization.
Speaking at the conference, Tran Quang Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies, emphasized: Protecting the Party's ideological foundation is considered fundamental, crucial, and vital in the work of Party building and rectification. Given the complex developments on the ideological front and in cyberspace, this task is becoming increasingly urgent and requires the proactive involvement of every cadre and Party member.
A new development in the current period is the significant shift of the ideological front to the digital space. This provides a favorable environment for the rapid and widespread dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations to the people. However, the cyberspace also harbors many risks, as false, distorted, and manipulated information, subversive rhetoric, and activities aimed at influencing public opinion can spread very quickly, directly impacting public perception and opinion.
Recently, on April 8, 2026, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam issued Regulation 19-QĐ/TW on political and ideological work within the Party. This is an urgent requirement stemming from practical realities, and at the same time, demonstrates the Party's determination to consolidate ideology and maintain the political foundation in the new era.
As key agencies and units within the province's political system, on April 22, 2026, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies issued Resolution No. 01 on promoting the role of cadres and Party members in the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies of Nghe An province in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints. The Resolution clearly states that each cadre and Party member must be a "fighter" leading the way on this front.
At the conference, delegates received presentations from central-level speakers on the following topics: skills in identifying and refuting false and hostile viewpoints on the internet in the current situation; and some solutions and experiences in combating misinformation on the internet, especially in identifying fake news and spreading positive information.

Following the conference, the Party Committee of the Party Agencies of Nghe An province requested that subordinate Party committees and branches continue to promptly disseminate and thoroughly understand the Party's guidelines, directives, and resolutions on protecting the Party's ideological foundation; at the same time, strengthen education, improve skills, expertise, and digital communication capabilities; skills in identifying fake news and verifying sources for cadres, Party members, civil servants, and employees; and consider the effective protection of the ideological foundation in the digital space as an important task at each agency and unit.
