Departure ceremony for the 2026 'Semester in the Military' program.
On the morning of May 30th, at Ho Chi Minh Square, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, and the Military School of Military Region 4 jointly organized the send-off ceremony for the "Semester in the Army" program in 2026.

Before the ceremony, delegates laid wreaths in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at his statue in Ho Chi Minh Square.

The "Semester in the Army" program is a meaningful, experiential education model, organized annually, aimed at fostering patriotism, national pride, and the heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Army; creating an environment for cultivating social skills and life skills, attracting thousands of students in the province to participate.

With the theme "We are learning to be soldiers - Growing up in discipline - Standing firm in the future," this year's "Semester in the Army" course attracted over 300 children from across the province. Over the course of nine days, the young cadets experienced many beneficial learning and training activities such as: "Learning to be soldiers," allowing them to experience independent living, understand and be proud of the heroic traditions and noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers"; "Growing up in discipline," shaping individuals with ideals and responsibility towards themselves, their families, and society; and "Standing firm in the future," confidently overcoming all the difficulties and challenges of modern life.

With thorough preparation in both military training content and practical social skills topics, this year's "Semester in the Army" program will help students improve their life skills, independence, foster a spirit of solidarity, discipline, courage, morality, and responsibility towards themselves, their families, and the community.
