According to the TASS news agency. On June 15, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a warning to Tehran. He affirmed that in the event of an Iranian attack on Israel stemming from developments in Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) would immediately respond "with full force."

The Israeli Defense Ministry's press office quoted Katz as emphasizing: "If Iran attacks Israel because of the events in Lebanon, Israel will retaliate with all its might, to demonstrate our overwhelming military superiority."

Earlier, the Israeli Defense Minister also affirmed that the IDF would maintain a presence in the security zones of Lebanon, Syria, and the Gaza Strip for an "indefinite period" to ensure strategic objectives.

Israel's stern, deterrent statement came just before a crucial diplomatic event. Prior to this, officials from the US, Iran, and Pakistan (the mediating nation) had unanimously confirmed that Washington and Tehran had reached a landmark agreement.

According to the plan, this peace agreement will be officially signed by the parties in Geneva (Switzerland) on June 19th. This is expected to be a crucial step in easing tensions between Israel and Iran, which are teetering on the brink of large-scale conflict.

Speaking about this process, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said that within the framework of the 60-day ceasefire, the parties involved will conduct extensive negotiations on a number of complex issues, including Tehran's nuclear program.

Notably, the implementation terms are specifically stipulated as follows: From June 15th, the US officially lifted the naval blockade against Iran. The ceasefire ended immediately and permanently all military operations on all conflict fronts, including the Lebanese battlefield.

This development marks a multilateral diplomatic effort to impose a crisis management mechanism, although observers note that Tel Aviv's tough stance indicates that strategic trust between the parties remains a major challenge.
