Android 17 is coming soon: Updated list of Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, and Pixel smartphones to be updated.

Google has officially released Android 17 for Pixel devices, marking the beginning of a major update across the entire mobile ecosystem. In the coming weeks, other smartphone and tablet manufacturers will gradually roll out this upgrade to their eligible models. However, many users are still wondering whether their devices are supported.

Google Pixel: The first devices to receive the upgrade.

True to tradition, Google's Pixel line of phones is always at the forefront of receiving the latest Android updates. The rollout began in mid-June for models from Pixel 6 and above.

Samsung is currently in the testing phase of the One UI 9.0 interface based on Android 17. The beta program has appeared on the Galaxy S26 series, and the stable version is expected to officially launch along with the new generation of foldable phones in July 2026.

Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series

Samsung's mid-range devices and tablets also have a very long list of supported products, including the Galaxy A57, A56, A37, A36 series and the high-end Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S10 series.

Chinese brands: Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, and realme

Chinese manufacturers typically deploy Android 17 along with their own customized interface, with a focus on the late 2026 period.

Xiaomi and Redmi

Xiaomi has been testing beta versions on flagship models like the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The stable version is expected to be released in October 2026.

OPPO is currently testing Android 17 on the Find X9 Pro. The stable update roadmap for the Find N, Find X, and Reno series will begin in November 2026.

vivo and realme

Both vivo (with OriginOS 7) and realme (with realme UI 8.0) are expected to release updates in November 2026. Flagship models such as the vivo X300, V70, and realme GT 8 Pro are among the priority releases.

The roadmap for OnePlus, Nothing, and Motorola

OnePlus is expected to roll out OxygenOS 16 based on Android 17 in November 2026 for OnePlus 11 and above models. Meanwhile, Nothing is likely to be one of the first companies to release a stable version at the same time for the Phone (2a) and Phone (3) models.

Motorola is also actively testing dozens of models in its foldable Razr series and mid-range Edge series. Devices like the Razr 70 and Edge 70 series are expected to receive upgrades sometime in 2026.

Summary of the estimated Android 17 update timeline

For other brands like ASUS and Sony, the update process may take place later, towards the end of 2026. Notably, Sony currently only has a shortlist of three eligible models: Xperia 10 VI, Xperia 1 VII, and Xperia 1 VI.
