Congratulatory message on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People's Party.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) (June 28, 1951 - June 28, 2026), the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam sent a congratulatory message to the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, all CPP members, and the Cambodian people, extending its warmest wishes.

The 75th anniversary of its founding is a particularly significant milestone in the history of the CPP, marking a glorious journey closely intertwined with the destiny of the Cambodian nation and country. Through many difficult and challenging periods, the CPP has continuously matured, uniting and fostering national solidarity, leading the Cambodian people to historically significant victories in the struggle for national liberation, rescuing the country from the genocide, firmly protecting the achievements of the revolution, and building and developing the country along a path of peace, stability, and prosperity, contributing to enhancing Cambodia's position and prestige in the region and internationally.
The Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people warmly congratulate these great achievements and believe that, building on the glorious traditions and valuable experiences forged through practice, under the leadership of the Central Committee headed by Comrade Hun Sen, the CPP will continue to play a key role in strategic orientation and strengthening unity, successfully implementing the Party's Platform for the 2023-2028 period and the Government's Pentagon Strategy for the 7th term, achieving the goal of becoming an upper-middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.
Entering a new stage of development for each country amidst the rapidly changing and complex global and regional situation, the Communist Party of Vietnam has consistently and steadfastly valued and prioritized its relationship with Cambodia; determined to work together with the CPP, the State and people of Cambodia to inherit, preserve and cultivate the invaluable shared asset of traditional solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia, bringing the relationship between the two countries to increasingly substantive levels, meeting the interests and aspirations of the people of each country, and making positive contributions to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
May the good neighborly relations, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-lasting sustainability between the two Parties, two States, and peoples of Vietnam and Cambodia endure for generations to come.
On this occasion, Politburo member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung sent a congratulatory letter to the Standing Committee member of the CPP, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, and Head of the Central Committee for External Relations of the CPP, Prak Sokhonn.
