Following the success of the Ace 6 series, OnePlus is preparing for its next step with the Ace 7. The latest leaks from rumor expert Digital Chat Station have revealed a device with specifications that far exceed the usual standards of current mid-range smartphones.

Superior performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The most noteworthy technical aspect of the OnePlus Ace 7 lies in its hardware configuration. According to sources, the device may be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor (model number SM8850) or a slightly modified variant codenamed SM8850Q. This is a flagship chipset manufactured using the advanced 3nm process, which is also found in top-of-the-line models like the OnePlus 15.

To maintain stable performance over the long term, OnePlus is expected to integrate a mechanical cooling fan system inside the device. Equipping the phone with an active cooling fan is a bold move, usually only seen on gaming smartphones, effectively addressing the issue of overheating when handling demanding tasks or playing high-graphics games.

185Hz display and record-breaking battery capacity.

The OnePlus Ace 7 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch display with a 1.5K resolution. Notably, the screen's refresh rate will reach 185Hz, significantly higher than the currently common 120Hz or 144Hz standards. This extremely high refresh rate will provide a super-smooth touch and motion experience, especially beneficial for professional gamers.

In terms of power, the device is surprisingly rumored to have a battery capacity of up to 9,000mAh. This is an unprecedented capacity for typical slim and lightweight smartphones. It also comes with 100W or 120W fast charging technology, significantly reducing the time it takes to fully charge this massive battery.

The Ace 7 Pro variant and periscope camera system.

Besides the standard version, this product line also includes the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro model with powerful photography upgrades. The Pro model is expected to be equipped with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera using a Samsung JN5 sensor, supporting 3.5x optical zoom.
