Grand groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Nam Dan 1 High School.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were: Phan Dinh Trac - former member of the Politburo, former Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, former Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Pham Thi Thanh Tra - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Prime Minister; Dang Van Dung - member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; along with leaders of central committees, ministries, branches, and agencies.

The leaders of Nghe An province included: Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with other members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, boards and agencies.

Nam Dan 1 High School is one of the schools with a long and rich history in the province. Investing in the construction of Nam Dan 1 High School at a new location is an urgent and objective requirement, and has been a long-awaited aspiration of the Party Committee, government, education sector, and people of Van An commune and other communes in the former Nam Dan district.

Nam Dan 1 High School was built on an area of ​​over 5 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND, accommodating 48 classrooms, with modern school buildings, laboratories, administrative offices, a multi-purpose hall, a library, and playgrounds and sports fields. The new school is designed in a modern style, meeting the standards of a high-quality model, laying a solid foundation for Nam Dan 1 High School to break through and become a model key school of Nghe An province.

This will be a place to nurture talent, meeting the requirements for cultivating high-quality human resources in accordance with Resolution No. 10 of the Provincial Party Committee on the development of human resources in Nghe An province for the period 2026 - 2030 and orientation to 2045.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra affirmed that the construction of Nam Dan 1 High School not only creates spacious and modern facilities, but more importantly, it creates a high-quality, humane, and inspiring educational environment so that the tradition of studiousness of the homeland can be continued, talents can be nurtured, and aspirations can take flight.

"This also serves as a foundation for the school to further enhance its role and position as one of the schools with a rich tradition in the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh; contributing increasingly more to the cause of training high-quality human resources to meet the development needs of the province as well as the country in the new era of development," Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra emphasized.

To ensure the project is implemented according to its objectives, with guaranteed quality and long-term effectiveness, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra requested the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments, the investor, and related units to focus on leading, directing, and organizing the project implementation to ensure progress, quality, and absolute safety during construction.

Furthermore, the management and use of investment resources from the State budget and socialized sources must be strict, transparent, and efficient. Any difficulties or obstacles arising during construction must be promptly addressed to ensure the progress and quality of the project. The goal is to complete the new school as quickly as possible by the 2027-2028 school year, meeting the expectations of the teachers, students, and parents of Nam Dan 1 High School.

The lead units, construction units, and supervisory units need to demonstrate the highest level of responsibility and professionalism, organize construction scientifically, and strictly adhere to technical standards in order to build a modern, integrated, green, and sustainable project.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra also requested the Education and Training sector of Nghe An province to continue to effectively implement fundamental and comprehensive reforms in education and training; improve the quality of education and develop the teaching staff and management personnel to meet the requirements of the new development stage; and focus on nurturing talent.

The Board of Directors of Nam Dan 1 High School continues to strongly innovate its management capacity, building the school towards a modern, smart, high-quality, and efficient direction, constantly upholding the nearly 65-year tradition of development and growth.

Each teacher continues to inspire with their intellect, dedication, and responsibility. Each student constantly studies, trains, and nurtures aspirations to excel, living up to the traditions of the school and their hometown of Nam Dan; contributing to building Nam Dan 1 High School into a model and exemplary educational environment in Nghe An province.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Trong Hai, respectfully thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and the central ministries and agencies for their continued attention, support, and cooperation with the province; and also acknowledged, commended, and thanked the sponsors for their support and contributions to the construction of the project.

"This is a precious gift for President Ho Chi Minh's homeland and generations of students; it demonstrates our love for our homeland, our responsibility to the community, and our faith in the younger generation," affirmed Vo Trong Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

To ensure the project is completed before August 30, 2027, and put into use in the 2027-2028 school year, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Trong Hai, requested the Party Committee, the government of Van An commune, and relevant departments and agencies to urgently complete land clearance and other tasks under their responsibility; promptly resolve procedures and create the most favorable conditions for the project to be implemented continuously and synchronously.

The Department of Education and Training and Nam Dan 1 High School proactively monitor the implementation process; ensuring that the scale, functionality, and equipment are appropriate to the requirements of educational reform and meet long-term needs. At the same time, they meticulously prepare the staff and plans for effective management, operation, and utilization of the facility immediately after handover. The physical infrastructure must be transformed into new quality and new achievements.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai requested that sponsors, investors, consulting, construction, and supervision units demonstrate the highest level of responsibility; mobilize sufficient resources, manpower, and equipment; organize construction scientifically, ensuring quality, progress, labor safety, and environmental hygiene, worthy of the project's significance and the people's trust.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, leaders of the Party, State, Nghe An province, and sponsors presented meaningful gifts to 100 underprivileged, diligent, and academically excellent students of Nam Dan 1 High School.
