Nghe An province held a meeting to congratulate students who won awards at the International Olympiads in the 2025-2026 school year.
On the afternoon of August 7th, at Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training held a meeting to congratulate students who won prizes in international Olympic competitions in the 2025-2026 school year.
Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Thai Van Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Khoa - Director of the Department of Education and Training; Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; along with representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and units, teachers, parents, and students.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Nghe An Education Department commended the achievements of students from Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School in international and regional intellectual competitions.
In the 2025-2026 academic year, the school had three students who achieved outstanding results: Nguyen Hoang Phuong won a Silver Medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and a Silver Medal at the Asia-Pacific Mathematical Olympiad (APMO); Tran Thi Khanh Trang won a Bronze Medal at the International Russian Language Olympiad; and Luu Trong Phuc received a Certificate of Merit at the Asia-Pacific Mathematical Olympiad.
These results further affirm the high-quality education of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, and contribute to enriching the list of achievements of Nghe An's education sector in international intellectual competitions.
At the meeting, Nguyen Hoang Phuong, representing the award-winning students, shared about their study and preparation process and their journey to winning the medals.
In my opinion, the results achieved are the culmination of continuous effort, the support of my family, and the dedication and guidance of my teachers.
Behind the students' achievements lies the crucial contribution of the teaching staff who directly coached and trained the team. The teachers involved in the training include: Mr. Ho Sy Hung, Mr. Tran Dai Duong, Mr. Phan Phuong Duc, Mr. Dao Quoc Dung (Mathematics) and Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thuy (Russian).

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Van Khoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training - praised the efforts of the students, teachers, and Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School. The achievements are not only a source of pride for the families, the school, and the education sector, but also contribute to bringing honor to Nghe An province and the country.
Comrade Nguyen Van Khoa encouraged the students to continue developing their abilities, character, self-learning spirit, and creativity; to nurture their aspirations and conquer new heights in their studies and research.
