New guidelines on Party Badge award levels.
The Central Party Office recently issued guidelines adjusting and supplementing some aspects regarding the expenditure levels and funding for awarding Party badges.
The guidelines specify the amount of monetary rewards accompanying the 35-year, 80-year, 85-year, 90-year, and 95-year Party membership badges, and the funding for awarding these badges, as follows:

The Central Party Office is responsible for issuing certificates, certificate frames, Party badges, and disbursing monetary rewards associated with Party badges; the funding for this is guaranteed by the central state budget within the budget allocated to the Central Party Office by the competent authority.
The certificate template; the design, material, and serial number of the Party Emblem shall be implemented according to the guidelines of the Central Organization Department.
Every year, at the same time as preparing the state budget for the following year, the Central Organizing Committee issues a document projecting the number of Party members to be awarded the 80-year, 85-year, 90-year, and 95-year Party membership badges for the following year, and sends it to the Central Party Office to assist in budget preparation.
In cases where Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, provincial Party Committees, or city Party Committees are authorized by the Secretariat to award Party Badges, the Central Party Office is responsible for selecting an appropriate method to transfer the certificate, Party Badge, and accompanying monetary reward to the authorized Party Committee for implementation.
The expenses for organizing the ceremony to award the 80-year, 85-year, 90-year, and 95-year Party Badges are covered by the Party Committee assigned to organize the ceremony; the funds are included in the operational expenditure budget of the Party Committee approved by the competent authority.
The funding for organizing the 30-year Party Badge awarding ceremony is allocated in the operational expenditure budget of the Party organization organizing the ceremony, as approved by the competent authority.
According to Guidance Document 01 of the Party Central Committee, Party members who have been members for 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, and 95 years are eligible for the Party Badge.
The awarding of Party Badges is organized promptly on the occasion of major holidays such as February 3rd, May 19th, September 2nd, November 7th, and other important anniversaries at the grassroots Party organization. In special cases, the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee will consider and decide.
Party members wear the Party Badge on Party and national holidays, at Party congresses and conferences, and on their personal anniversaries of joining the Party. When a Party member passes away, their family is allowed to keep the Party Badge as a memento.
