Opening of the thematic exhibition "Radiant Autumn of Independence Day"
On the morning of August 18th, at Ho Chi Minh Square, to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Museum, organized the opening of the thematic exhibition "Radiant Autumn of Independence".
Attending the ceremony were: Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung - Deputy Head of Political Department of Military Region 4; Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and representatives from various agencies, units, and localities.

Before the opening ceremony, the delegation respectfully laid a wreath of fresh flowers before the sacred image of President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their profound respect and boundless gratitude for his immense contributions – the brilliant leader of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, and an outstanding cultural figure.

Looking back 81 years ago, the August days brimming with revolutionary fervor and the day the Declaration of Independence resounded in Ba Dinh Square will forever remain a glorious milestone in the nation's history.
It's not just the joy of Independence Day; it's the culmination of countless years of arduous struggle, the result of the sweat, tears, and even blood and bones of countless generations.

The autumn month of August will forever live on in the hearts of every Vietnamese person as a sacred symbol of patriotism, indomitable will, and the aspiration for freedom.
Carrying with it pride in the glorious traditions of the nation and faith and expectations for the country's future in the era of integration and strong development, the thematic exhibition "Radiant Autumn of Independence" is divided into two parts: Ba Dinh Square bathed in autumn sunshine; From the autumn of independence to the autumn of renewal.

With over 120 representative images and documents, the exhibition vividly recreates the aspiration for freedom, the will for self-reliance, and the strength of national unity – the decisive factors that led to the victory of the protracted struggle to firmly protect the independence of the Fatherland.
The past 81 years are a powerful testament to Vietnam's resilience in upholding its sovereignty and territorial integrity, ensuring peace and stability for development, and enhancing the country's position in the international arena.
