* Heavy rain from September 13-16, combined with water flowing from upstream, caused flooding in many areas of Nghe An province.Large areas of vegetable cropsThe crops, which were in their growing season, were flooded. Many vegetable fields were not yet ready for harvest, forcing farmers to harvest them prematurely to salvage what they could and minimize losses.

The water level of the Con River continued to rise from the night of September 16th to the afternoon of September 17th.causing localized floodingin many residential areas in Tan An and Tan Ky communes.
