Quynh Luu: Implementing Resolution No. 37 of the Politburo

On the morning of March 22, the Quỳnh Lưu District Party Committee organized a conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW dated December 24, 2018, of the Politburo and Announcement No. 134-KL/TU dated March 5, 2019, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to the secretaries and chairmen of 33 communes and towns.

At the conference, delegates were briefed on the basic contents of Resolution No. 37 of the Politburo on "reorganizing administrative units at the district and commune levels". The resolution aims to streamline and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the local government apparatus at the district and commune levels, contributing to improving the lives of the people.

Accordingly, the restructuring of district and commune-level administrative units should be linked to the reform and reorganization of the political system's organizational structure to be streamlined, effective, and efficient; to reduce staffing levels; to reform the salary system; to restructure and improve the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees; and to ensure the effective utilization of state and social resources for socio-economic development in each locality, improve people's living standards; and maintain national defense, political security, and social order and safety...

The conference also adopted Conclusion No. 134 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on solutions for reorganizing the organizational structure and restructuring the staff of officials and civil servants of the commune-level political system in Nghe An province to be streamlined, effective, and efficient.
