Drug lord uses knife to fight back against arresting force
(Baonghean.vn) - Among the 7 subjects who were recently prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency of Quynh Luu District Police for the crime of buying, selling, and organizing illegal use of drugs, Vi Xuan Thanh (born in 1996), residing in Nghia Hoi Commune, Nghia Dan District, was the leader, using a knife to fiercely fight back when arrested by the police force.
On June 9, Quynh Luu District Police announced that they had just prosecuted 7 subjects for the crime of buying, selling, and organizing illegal use of drugs.

Among them is Vi Xuan Thanh (born in 1996), residing in Nghia Hoi commune, Nghia Dan district - the leader of a drug trafficking ring from border districts of Nghe An province to Dien Chau, Quynh Luu districts and Hoang Mai town for consumption and supply to addicts in business establishments with security and order conditions.
During the arrest, Thanh used a sharp knife to fiercely fight back against the police and destroy the evidence.
However, the Task Force successfully arrested Thanh for illegal drug trafficking. The arrest process was safe.

Previously, Quynh Luu District Police discovered a drug trafficking ring from border districts of Nghe An province to Dien Chau, Quynh Luu districts and Hoang Mai town for consumption.
After a period of synchronous implementation of professional measures, on June 1, the Task Force simultaneously launched a campaign, arresting 05 subjects at 01 karaoke bar in Quynh Minh commune for the act of buying, selling, and organizing illegal use of drugs. Of which, 03 subjects reside in Quynh Luu district, the remaining 02 subjects reside in Con Cuong and Que Phong districts.

Expanding the investigation, on June 3, Quynh Luu District Police arrested Vi Xuan Thanh. At the same time, they continued to investigate and arrest two subjects, Ngo Van Dai (born in 1983) and Tran Van Coi (born in 1999), both residing in Son Hai Commune, Quynh Luu District, for organizing illegal drug use.
In the case, the police seized evidence including 2,598 pink synthetic drug pills, a 40cm long knife and many related evidences.
