From April, many types of train tickets are reduced by up to 50%

Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that starting next April, it will implement many discount programs for customers.

Specifically, passengers traveling on Thong Nhat SE3/4, SE7/8, SE21/22 trains who purchase tickets 20 days or more in advance with a travel distance of 1,000 km will receive a 20-50% discount on the ticket price. This program does not apply to air-conditioned 4-berth sleeper cabins on SE3/4 trains. When returning or exchanging tickets, the deduction is 20-50% of the ticket price; the time to change or return tickets before the train departs is 72 hours.

For passenger trains in the SE25/26, SQN1/2, SNQ3/4, SNT1/2, SNT3/4 sections, passengers who purchase tickets 20 days or more before departure will receive a 20-30% discount on the ticket price. The program does not apply to discounts on 4-berth air-conditioned sleeper cabins on trains SNT1/2, SNT3/4. When returning or exchanging tickets, the deduction is 20-30% of the ticket price; the time to change or return tickets before the train departs is 72 hours.

The discount programs are valid from April 1-24, May 2-23, August 13-29 and September 4-December 26.

In addition to preferential programs for individual customers, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company also has many preferential programs for passengers buying group tickets.

Specifically: Groups buying train tickets with 10 or more passengers will receive a discount of 3-12% on ticket prices. Not applicable for holidays from April 25 to May 1 and from August 30 to September 3.

For tour guides, during the train travel period from April 1-24, May 2-23, August 13-29, September 4-December 26, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will reduce the price of tickets for seats or 6-berth sleeper cabins for tour guides according to the number of groups as follows: From 20-50 people (excluding tour guides) reduce 1 tour guide, from 51-100 people reduce 2 tour guides, from 101 people or more reduce 3 tour guides.

In particular, travel companies participating in the 2018 tourism stimulus program with tourism associations of provinces and cities will receive a 10-40% discount on ticket prices and an additional 10% discount when purchasing tickets 30 days in advance for groups of 10 or more people purchasing train tickets.

Applicable time from March 10 to December 26, except for peak holiday periods (April 25 to May 1 and August 30 to September 3).
