PV:Could you provide readers with an overview of the province's young business community and their outstanding contributions in the first half of the term?
Mr. Tran Vinh Quy:After 20 years of establishment, the Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association currently has nearly 200 members in many fields and professions. Enterprises and members of the Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association have created jobs for more than 10,000 workers, with annual revenue of member enterprises reaching about 3,000 billion VND. In addition to contributing tens of billions of VND to the provincial budget, the Association also always takes care of implementing social work activities, with a total contribution of nearly 10 billion VND (nearly 5 billion VND through the Association channel).

As an extension of the government to businesses and entrepreneurs, the Nghe An Province Young Entrepreneurs Association is a dedicated core force, representing young entrepreneurs in the province as a pioneer in activities to promote economic and business development. The Young Entrepreneurs Association has advised the province on many effective policies and strategies to build and improve the investment and business environment.
Along with that, the association has had many practical and effective activities to accompany the young generation in the start-up and career movement and actively participate in building the province's DDCI index. Since then, it has contributed significantly to the good growth of member enterprises, including enterprises achieving a growth rate of over 60% per year. Enterprises are conscious of complying with the law, receiving many noble awards such as Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, ministries, branches and rewards for excellent completion of tax obligations. From 2015 to 2022, 04 enterprises have won the "Golden Star of Vietnam" award, 01 entrepreneur won the "Red Star Award", many entrepreneurs won the title of "Outstanding Young Entrepreneur"...
Through these results, young businesses in Nghe An have gradually affirmed their value and position in the market as well as contributed to the comprehensive development of the province.

PV:It can be seen that the 4th industrial revolution has had a profound impact on the Vietnamese economy in general and Nghe An province in particular. So, can you tell us about the advantages and challenges when Nghe An businessmen enter this revolution?
Mr. Tran Vinh Quy:The advantages for Nghe An business community when entering the 4th industrial revolution are development opportunities in new fields such as information technology and software; creative industry and design; entertainment industry and digital content; biological industry and high-tech agriculture...
In particular, the People’s Committee of Nghe An province has approved the plan to support innovative startups in Nghe An province for the period 2017 – 2020. This includes incubators, coworking spaces, and an innovative startup investment fund. The government and local authorities of Nghe An have created policies and support programs for entrepreneurs and startups. This includes grants, tax incentives, and support for training and skills development. Young entrepreneurs can take advantage of this support to develop business ideas and startups.
Objectively, Nghe An has a young and enthusiastic workforce, with a thirst for innovation and entrepreneurship. They can grasp new industrial trends and easily search for information to develop creative ideas. The development of the Internet and information technology has opened wide doors for them to easily access information and knowledge.

In fact, entering the 4th industrial revolution, Nghe An has had young entrepreneurs who dare to adapt to social changes. Typically in Nghe An, in addition to Gostreams Joint Stock Company of young entrepreneur Nghiem Tien Vien, there are other young factors such as entrepreneur Nguyen Kim Cuong, born in 1989, who recently successfully raised capital in the Billion Dollar Deal program with the Nobita.pro ECRM platform. Entrepreneur Nguyen Van Tai - Director of Anh Duc Tai Company Limited specializing in the garment industry, although he is very young, born in 1995, he was recently honored with the award of Top 100 Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs in Vietnam...
The number of enterprises operating in the “high-brain” fields such as agriculture, information technology, telecommunications, training, and some technical and consulting services has also grown continuously. Some enterprises have sought international cooperation opportunities such as ABT Nghe An Trading Joint Stock Company; Wand.vn Technology Joint Stock Company; Hoang Dang Food Processing Company Limited… These factors have breathed new life into the economic development thinking of the business community.
However, the challenge for Nghe An business community when entering the 4th industrial revolution is not small. That is the investment cost, because investing in technology infrastructure can require a large amount of money, especially for small and medium enterprises. Along with that is risk management and security; Training and human resources; system integration and continuous improvement. In short, investing in technology infrastructure faces many challenges, from financial aspects to technological knowledge and risk management. However, if done thoughtfully and effectively, it can bring great benefits to the development and competitiveness of businesses in the 4th industrial revolution.
PV:The Politburo issued Resolution 39-NQ/TW on building and developing Nghe An until 2030, with a vision to 2045. Receiving this information, what joys and concerns do Nghe An business people have?

Mr. Tran Vinh Quy:Receiving this information, young entrepreneurs consider it a new development opportunity because it shows the attention of the Politburo and the Government to the development of Nghe An. This creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to participate in regional development projects and take advantage of new business opportunities. The long-term vision of the Resolution will ensure that Nghe An will have a long-term development direction, helping entrepreneurs plan and invest with a longer-term vision. At the same time, this Resolution can stimulate local authorities to create a business-friendly environment, provide support and promote economic development.
However, there are still many concerns such as the need for long-term investment from entrepreneurs. Along with that, the change in the business environment with many new regulations requires great adaptation from entrepreneurs. Not to mention, when many entrepreneurs participate in regional development projects, competition can become fierce and require strong competitive capacity.
To survive and develop in such a competitive environment, Nghe An businessmen face the need to constantly improve the quality of products and services to meet strict quality standards, with optimal value and performance. At the same time, it requires large investments in research and development. This is a decisive factor to bring about innovation and creativity, helping to create competitive products and solutions in the international market.
PV:As we know, the trend of digital business is an inevitable development trend of society, especially in the current period. So what changes have Nghe An business leaders made to adapt?
Mr. Tran Vinh Quy:Digital transformation is an inevitable trend and an important solution for businesses to improve production and business efficiency, expand markets, cut costs, and adapt to the new context of the digital economy.

In fact, digital transformation activities in Nghe An enterprises have been taking place strongly in recent years as a natural need to meet the changes in customer consumption behavior as well as management needs. Digital transformation activities in enterprises can be mentioned as digitizing management data, applying digital technology to automate and optimize business processes, management processes, production and business, reporting processes, etc.
For example, in the past, the steps of ordering raw materials and production were done on paper. Now, to save money, the company has completely converted to a digital environment. Thanks to that, the company's management saves time, prevents loss and waste, as well as promptly supplies raw materials for production.
In addition to digitalization in the production process, many businesses have promoted the application of software solutions in sales management, online marketing, distribution channel management, business administration or creating new products and services.
It can be affirmed that the change towards digitalization has helped Nghe An businesses improve performance and productivity. They have created more efficient work processes and optimized costs. Many businesses have expanded their markets through the network and can compete more strongly in the international market.

However, adapting to digital business also poses many challenges. Some businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), may have difficulty investing in and implementing new technology. They also face security and data management issues, especially in a context where protecting customers' personal information is increasingly important.
PV:In the coming time, what are the important goals of Nghe An business community? To achieve that goal, what do they expect from the Party Committee, government and departments of the province?
Mr. Tran Vinh Quy:The main objectives include expanding export markets, especially in agriculture and industry, to create more income and business opportunities; Training and developing human resources to meet the new requirements of the Industrial Revolution 4.0; Implementing environmental protection measures and participating in sustainable projects...
To achieve these goals, the business community expects the Party Committee, the government, and provincial departments and branches to create a business-friendly environment, remove administrative barriers, reduce fees, and ensure transparency in administrative processes. Along with that, it is necessary to continue improving infrastructure in terms of transportation, telecommunications, energy, and clean water to support business development. At the same time, create conditions for business people to cooperate with each other and with research and training organizations. Finally, support environmental protection projects and initiatives so that these projects can be effectively implemented in practice. From there, gradually promote the business community to grow, create useful values for the community, and contribute to the comprehensive development of Nghe An in the coming time.
