CPI increases by 0.32% in June
(Baonghean.vn) - In the 6 first months of 2016, on average, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in whole Nghe An province increased by 2,53% in comparison with the same period last year.
Nghe An’s CPI in June 2016 went up by 0.32% compared to the previous month, and rose 2.35% compared to December 2015, which made out an increase of 2.65% in comparison with the same period last year.

Among 11 groups of products and services in the statistic, there were 6 groups seeing an advance in price compared to last month. Especially, the highest rise of 2.44% was seen in transportation products group.
The rise in price of gasoline and oil under the adjustment of The Financial Department during the last period was supposed to be the explanation for the highest increase of transportation products and services.
Although there was a fall of gasoline price on 20th June 2016, particularly, RON 92 and E5 gasoline prices were down by 341 dong/litre and 366 dong/litre respectively, but it could not balance 5 continual times of advance before.
Meanwhile, prices of oil were keeping going up and took the lead in price growth among statistical groups of products.
Following the group of gasoline and oil, the second rank belonged to culture, entertainment and tourism products and services with a growth of 1.69% in price since June - the peak season of tourism in the province.
Also in June, prices increased: by 0.45% for house, electricity, fuels and building material products; 0.16% for beverages and tobacco; 0.35% for food and catering services; 0.01% for medicines and medical services.
Especially, gold price surged to 28,203-29,032 million dong per ounce, increase about 995,388 dong per ounce in average, compared to price in the previous month.

Among 5 groups with decreased price index, restaurant and catering service just experienced a small decline of 0.01% in comparison with May. Cereals price fell 0.83% since harvest time of spring crop in Nghe An so the supply was very exuberant. In contrast, food price increased slightly by 0.27%.
In other groups, prices dropped: 0.95% for garment, hats and shoes; 0.25% for household applications and equipment; 0.08% for postal and telecommunication service%; 2% for other products and services. Other groups remained the same price as in May 2016.
