(Baonghean.vn) - In recent days, the coastal region of Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) attracted a large number of tourists who came to admire the beauty of blooming dragon fruit flowers.

| On an approx. 3-ha area, more than 1,000 dragon fruit trees are planted in straight lines. At every single tree, buds and flowers reach out along with sprawling branches showing their gorgeousness. |

| According to Mr. Nguyen Van Thuan, the owner of the dragon fruit farm, such flowers only bloom within about 3 hours in early morning for pollination and wilt after that because of stronger sunshine. |

| Mr. Thuan also shared, dragon fruit flowers bloom in batches which only last for 3 days and take place every ten days beginning from Lunar May until end of the year. However, at first batches, the plant is at its strongest status to bloom for the most glamorous flowers. |
Mr. Nguyen Van Thuan, the owner of the dragon fruit farm, had deep love for and favors with the sea of Quynh. In addition to his management at Quynh resort, he had been taking care of this farm for 5 years. At the moment, the dragon fruit trees were experiencing their most productive period. As he said, his target with dragon fruit farm was to create a farming model on a new plant which could efficiently exploit the features of salt-affected and infertile soil areas in Nghe An and spread it over his hometown. |
