Authorities seized 12,000 eggs of unknown origin.

(Baonghean)The Dien Chau Market Management Team No. 1, in coordination with Traffic Police Team 5-1 (Nghe An Provincial Police), recently apprehended a case involving the transportation of 12,000 chicken eggs of unknown origin from Hanoi through Dien Chau.

The confiscated items were handed over to the Dien Chau Veterinary Station.

On October 19th, acting on a tip from the public about the transportation of a large quantity of chicken eggs by passenger bus through the area, Market Management Team No. 1, in coordination with Traffic Police Team 5-1 (Nghe An Provincial Police), inspected a passenger bus with license plate 73L 8281 traveling from Hanoi to Quang Binh.

During an inspection, authorities discovered 12,000 chicken eggs without invoices or documents proving their origin. The driver admitted to transporting the eggs for someone in Hanoi to Quang Binh for sale. The Market Management Team temporarily seized the eggs and handed them over to the Dien Chau Veterinary Station for destruction.
