Two individuals arrested for manufacturing firecrackers.

(Baonghean.vn) -On January 28, 2013, the Vinh City Police leadership announced that the Economic and Narcotics Police Team of Vinh City Police had caught two individuals red-handed for illegally manufacturing and selling firecrackers.

The suspects are Tran Hong Quan (born in 1990, residing in Duc Tho, Ha Tinh) and Le Trong Dat (born in 1991, residing in Nghi Phu commune, Vinh City). The seized items include 9 kg of homemade firecrackers, 1 kg of gunpowder, and some tools for producing explosive firecrackers.

According to initial confessions, Le Trong Dat had been producing firecrackers for a long time, each mortar firecracker measuring 20cm in length, which he sold for 15,000 VND. At the end of January 2013, Dat went to the rented room of Tran Hong Quan (a student at a vocational college) in Nghi Phu commune to borrow Quan's room to roll firecrackers. Quan agreed and they started rolling the firecrackers together. Both suspects were apprehended before the firecracker production was complete.
