Former Director of the Execution Department sentenced to 5 years in prison

On the afternoon of April 12, the People's Court of Phu Yen province sentenced defendant Dinh Thien Tuong (37 years old, residing in Tuy Hoa city), former Head of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Tay Hoa district (Phu Yen), to 5 years in prison for the crime of abusing position and power while executing a judgment.public service.

According to the People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy's indictment against defendant Tuong for the crime of abusing his position and power while performing official duties is in accordance with the law.

Accordingly, from 2002 to 2006, defendant Tuong was then an enforcement officer of the Phu Hoa District Judgment Enforcement Agency (Phu Hoa District Civil Judgment Enforcement Sub-Department) assigned to execute the judgment enforcement decision of the Tuy Hoa City People's Court (now Tuy Hoa City) forcing Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung to repay the loan to the Tuy Hoa City Agricultural and Rural Development Bank branch.

During the execution of the sentence, Tuong made many false records, falsely appraised property values... and profited 90 million VND.
