Receiving the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 30, Regiment 1 - Division 324 held a ceremony to receive the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal. Attending and delivering a congratulatory speech was Major General Vo Van Viet - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region IV.

After 63 years of building, fighting and growing with outstanding achievements, the Regiment, Battalion 1, Battalion 3 and Company 17 (now Company 16 of Air Defense) were awarded the title of Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State, 6 individuals were honored as Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, the Regiment was awarded by the Party and State of Lao PDR 2 First Class Feat Medals, 1 Third Class Feat Medal, 2 Second Class Freedom Medals and from 2008 to present, the Regiment has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region Command awarded the flag of an excellent training unit, the Central Military Commission awarded the Party Committee of the Vietnam People's Army. Especially in 2012, the President awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal.

Authorized by his superiors, Major General Vo Van Viet - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4 awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Regiment.
