Receiving the Third Class Order of National Defense

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 30th, Regiment 1 of Division 324 held a ceremony to receive the Third-Class Order of National Defense. Attending and giving a congratulatory speech was Major General Vo Van Viet, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region IV.

Over 63 years of building, fighting, and maturing with outstanding achievements, the Regiment, Battalion 1, Battalion 3, and Company 17 (now Air Defense Company 16) have been awarded the title of Hero Unit of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State; 6 individuals have been honored as Heroes of the People's Armed Forces; the Regiment has been awarded 2 First-Class Military Merit Orders, 1 Third-Class Military Merit Order, and 2 Second-Class Freedom Orders by the Party and State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic; and from 2008 to the present, the Regiment has received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region Command, the Flag of Excellence for Training Unit, and the Party Committee of the Central Military Commission. Notably, in 2012, the President of Vietnam awarded the Regiment the Third-Class Order of National Defense.

With its rich tradition, the Regiment was honored to receive the Third-Class Order of National Defense from the President of Vietnam on this occasion. Authorized by the higher authorities, Major General Vo Van Viet, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 4, presented the Third-Class Order of National Defense to the Regiment.
