Adjusting Thong Nhat train ticket prices from June 1
On May 22, a representative of Hanoi Railway Station said that ticket prices for Thong Nhat and local trains on the southern route will be adjusted from June 1.
Accordingly, the lowest ticket price of the Thong Nhat train is 577,000 VND (hard seat Hanoi - Saigon train TN1), the highest ticket price of the Thong Nhat train is 1,990 million VND (soft sleeper with air conditioning Hanoi - Saigon train SE3). Ticket prices of all types increased from 3% to 10% compared to the summer of 2012.

From June 1, the Thong Nhat trains and local trains on the southern route will also change their departure times. Specifically, Train SE1 in Hanoi and Train SE2 from Saigon will depart at 7:00 p.m. and arrive in Saigon and Hanoi at 3:45 a.m. Train SE3 departs from Hanoi at 11:00 p.m. and arrives in Saigon at 4:30 a.m.; Train SE4 departs from Saigon at 11:00 p.m. and arrives in Hanoi at 4:30 p.m.; Train SE6 departs from Saigon at 9:00 a.m. and arrives in Nha Trang at 4:30 p.m. and arrives in Hanoi at 7:26 p.m. Ms. Phung Thi Ly Ha recommends that passengers should note some changes in train times: from June 1, in the morning in Hanoi, there will only be 2 Thong Nhat trains: SE7 at 6:15 a.m. and SE5 at 9:00 a.m.; In the afternoon, there is one trip, TN1, at 1:15 p.m. and the next train does not leave until 7 p.m.
In addition, to meet the increased travel demand during the summer, from June 13 to July 21, Hanoi Railway Passenger Transport Company will run an additional pair of high-quality passenger trains SE23/24 (Hanoi - Hue route). Train SE23 departs from Hanoi at 20:05 and arrives in Hue at 9:49, train SE24 departs from Hue at 14:00 and arrives in Hanoi at 5:30.
