Illegal transportation of 600 foreign-made fireworks

(Baonghean.vn) -At about 3:30 p.m. on January 2, 2014, at km 424 of National Highway 1A, in Dien Chau Town, the Traffic Control Patrol Team inspected a motorbike with license plate number 37B1.52160, driven by Mr. Pham Van Duong (born in 1993), residing in Hamlet 3, Dien Thanh Commune, Dien Chau).

600 illegally transported fireworks were seized

Upon inspection, the traffic police discovered that the vehicle was carrying two sealed cardboard boxes weighing 72kg, with many suspicious signs. Upon inspection of the cargo, the authorities discovered that inside were 600 foreign-made firecrackers.

According to Pham Van Duong's confession, this amount of firecrackers was hired by Ms. Dang Thi Hoa (born in 1973), residing in Hamlet 3, Dien Thanh Commune (Dien Chau) to be transported by Mr. Duong from a passenger bus with license plate number: 38N.1153 running from Hanoi.

The working group has drawn up a record to confiscate all the above fireworks and handed them over to Dien Chau District Police for handling according to the provisions of law.
