Illegal transportation of 600 firecrackers of foreign origin.

(Baonghean.vn) -At approximately 3:30 PM on January 2nd, 2014, at kilometer 424 of National Highway 1A, in Dien Chau Town, a traffic patrol team inspected a motorcycle with license plate 37B1.52160, driven by Mr. Pham Van Duong (born in 1993), residing in Hamlet 3, Dien Thanh Commune, Dien Chau District.

600 illegally transported firecrackers were seized.

Upon inspection, traffic police discovered that the vehicle was carrying two sealed cardboard boxes weighing 72kg, exhibiting several suspicious signs. Further inspection of the boxes revealed 600 firecrackers of foreign origin inside.

According to Pham Van Duong's confession, these fireworks were hired by Dang Thi Hoa (born in 1973), residing in Hamlet 3, Dien Thanh Commune (Dien Chau District), who transported them from a passenger bus with license plate 38N.1153 running the route from Hanoi.

The task force confiscated all the fireworks and handed them over to the Dien Chau District Police for handling according to the law.
