Border Guard Post 152 assists local people in building rural roads.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 5th, officers and soldiers of Border Guard Post 152, in coordination with the local government and people, helped Catholic parishioners in Hamlet 5, Dien Thanh Commune, Dien Chau District, build rural roads.

The nearly 100-meter stretch of road passing through three households: Tran Trung, Nguyen Hung, and Le Hung (Hamlet 5, Dien Thanh Commune, Dien Chau District) is the last section of road in Hamlet 5 to be concreted under the local new rural development program. To complete this section, the Party Committee and the Hamlet 5 Steering Committee called on and mobilized residents to voluntarily overcome difficulties to work together with the local Party Committee and government to achieve the goals of the new rural development program.

It is known that Hamlet 5, Dien Thanh Commune, is a predominantly Catholic hamlet (100% of the residents are Catholic) with 219 households/1,008 people. The completion of the road paving is the result of the efforts of the Party Committee and the Hamlet 5 Management Board, as well as the advisory and coordinating role of Border Guard Post 152 in contributing to the local new rural development. This further strengthens the solidarity between the military and the people, and between Catholics and non-Catholics, contributing to building an increasingly solid all-people border defense posture in the area.
