Experience for children to travel safely
Below are some things to keep in mind when taking your children, especially young children, on family trips.
Take a plane
Parents do not need to worry too much about earache when taking their baby on a plane. For newborns, mothers can breastfeed or bottle-feed, for older babies, mothers can give them milk or water, and for older babies, mothers can show them how to chew gum...
If the baby sleeps on the plane, the mother is very relaxed. If the baby sleeps before boarding the plane, it is a bit troublesome for the mother because the whole family has to go through security gates for checking, going up and down the airport floors. Therefore, mothers should choose a reasonable flight time that is convenient for the baby and relaxing for the mother.
Eating and drinking on the plane: Mothers can confidently put 1-2 cartons of fresh milk in their child's backpack, carry it in their carry-on backpack, along with a 200ml bottle of water, security will let them through everywhere, and then they will have milk for their child to drink on the plane. If it is powdered milk, bring powdered milk and cold water, ask for hot water on the plane, the flight attendants will give mothers water to mix the milk. Depending on the age of the child, mothers can bring snacks on the plane: cakes, bread, and salty foods. Like my son Po, when he went to Malaysia, he still brought rice from home, while waiting to board the plane, he could feed his child if that time coincided with his main meal.

Toys: Mom should bring a favorite toy of the baby and a new toy, the baby is playing for the first time. The criteria for bringing toys when traveling is compact and stimulating the child's creativity such as puzzles, a piece of clay, a robot, a Rubik's cube. I usually bring my child's story books, that's enough to play with.
Supplies: Your child's backpack should carry the following: 2 sets of clothes to change for the child, 1 shirt to change for the parent in case the child vomits, preferably a pullover that can be worn by both the parent and the child, wet wipes, a face towel (cloth), a carton of fresh milk and a water bottle, 1 toy/book, snacks if needed, diapers, fever reducer, nasal spray, sunscreen. Remember that the medicine bag can be put in a checked suitcase, but these medicines should be in a carry-on backpack. These are "inseparable" items.
Play with your child: Talk and tell stories to your child often, constantly change the topic of conversation, guide your child to do this and that (wear a seat belt/ lower the dining table, take off/put on shoes...) to help your child avoid boredom and limit motion sickness.
By car
If traveling by car, it is of course easier to get carsick, so the first thing parents should pay attention to is the food their baby eats before and during the trip: avoid foods that cause stomach upset, for example, parents should give their baby milk little by little if the baby is prone to carsickness and the whole family has to travel a long distance. For short trips, give the baby only water, and eat and drink after arriving at the destination.

Next, foods that can easily cause bloating should be limited as much as possible because they can easily make the baby nauseous. Parents must constantly watch the baby, if there are signs that the baby wants to vomit, immediately take a vomit bag/plastic bag/milk cup or anything that can catch it and catch it right in the baby's mouth. Otherwise, parents should immediately cup their hands together to catch it, then ask their husband/wife/someone next to them to give them the bag and pour the baby's vomit into it. The important thing is that parents do not panic at that time because otherwise it will make the baby panic even more.
Take the train
My family doesn't like this means of transport very much, but sometimes we still have to go. The reason we don't like it is because the train is too noisy and crowded. The biggest advantage of the train is safety. If the economy allows, parents can buy air-conditioned sleepers, 4-berth fast train compartments so the whole family will be comfortable, the baby can sleep horizontally or vertically along the bed. Soft seats are suitable for short trips of 3-5 hours, hard seats are also acceptable if there is no other choice. Parents who are more financially generous can buy a separate train ticket for the baby, so the baby will have his own seat to use and the parents will have less trouble.
Go by boat
I see that adults often get seasick, but children rarely get seasick. But parents should not let children run around too much because when the boat is too bumpy, children can easily vomit and get tired. Also pay attention to food and drink to avoid vomiting. Let your child sit near the window so that he can get fresh air, enjoy the scenery, and clear his mind.
