Quynh Luu: Opening Ceremony of the Beach Volleyball Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - To practically celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee (April 20, 1930 – April 20, 2014); the 39th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2014) and other major holidays in May 2014, on the morning of April 19, at the beach area of ​​Quynh Nghia commune, the Quynh Luu District Sports Center, in coordination with Quynh Nghia commune, organized the opening ceremony of the men's and women's beach volleyball tournament.

The tournament will feature 150 athletes from 25 communes in the district, including 14 men's teams and 11 women's teams. The competition will take place over two days, from April 20th to 21st, with 24 matches to determine the first, second, and third place winners. The tournament aims to promote the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh," especially the volleyball training and competition movement throughout the district.
