Quynh Luu: Opening of Beach Volleyball Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to practically celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee (April 20, 1930 - April 20, 2014); the 39th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2014) and major holidays in May 2014, on the morning of April 19, at the beach area of ​​Quynh Nghia Commune, the Quynh Luu District Sports Center coordinated with Quynh Nghia Commune to organize the opening ceremony of the men's and women's beach volleyball tournament.

The tournament has 150 athletes from 25 communes in the district. There are 14 men's teams and 11 women's teams. The tournament will take place over 2 days, from April 20 to 21, with 24 matches to compete for first, second and third prizes. The tournament aims to promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", especially the movement of practicing and competing in volleyball in the whole district.
