Building a cultural lifestyle in the people's police force

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 14, 2014, Nghe An Police held a Conference to summarize 3 years of implementing the Campaign "CAND strictly comply with regulations, build a cultural lifestyle to serve the people". Comrade Tran Hong Chau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended.

The provincial police always consider the movement as one of the important contents in the work of building the force, contributing to the development of the movement "Emulation for the security of the Fatherland" more and more deeply. Along with propaganda work, forms such as organizing forums and implementing slogans such as "Listening to people's opinions", "Saturdays and Sundays for the people", "Forging virtue and rectifying style"... the police units in the province have organized 85 seminars, 22 competitions on etiquette, style, and attitude of police officers and soldiers towards the people.

The work of monitoring and inspecting regulations and cultural lifestyles was also regularly organized by the Provincial Police in 56/56 departments, district and urban police. Thereby, 192 violations were handled, and 59 violations were recorded when interacting with the people. Through the campaign, many advanced models appeared in various fields of work, 609 groups and 1,759 individuals were commended at all levels, including 1 group and 1 individual were awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, 1 individual was awarded the "Glory of Vietnam" award, many groups and individuals were awarded medals of various types.

Individuals who completed the form received certificates of merit from the Ministry of Public Security.

The conference also pointed out the causes and shortcomings that need to be overcome and proposed some key tasks in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee commended the results achieved by the Nghe An Police force in implementing the campaign; at the same time, he pointed out that some police officers still have an authoritarian attitude, causing trouble for the people, some even violate the ethics and lifestyle of the people's police officers. He requested the Nghe An Police force to continue to develop this campaign in both breadth and depth so that the image of the police officers becomes more and more beautiful in the eyes of the people, shining brighter in social life.

Also at the conference, Nghe An Police organized a signing ceremony to compete in the campaign "Strictly implementing the regulations, building a cultural lifestyle to serve the people" and awarded collectives and individuals with many achievements in the past time.
