Hoang Mai Police: 2 theft cases in 2 days
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of April 16, Hoang Mai Town Police said that the agency was temporarily detaining a group of subjects who had committed theft of property in the school.
During the period from December 2013 to April 2014, many cases of property theft occurred continuously in Hoang Mai town, especially property theft in some schools. After receiving information from school leaders about criminals breaking into schools to steal computers and printers, Hoang Mai town police established Project 414T to investigate and clarify the case. At 10:00 p.m. on April 15, while this group of subjects was planning to continue breaking into some schools in Hoang Mai town to steal, the town police suddenly raided and arrested 7 subjects. The subjects arrested include: Le Duc Viet, born in 1995; Nguyen Van Tung, born in 1994; Nguyen Van Son, born in 1996; Nguyen Van Hoang, born in 1993; Vu Xuan Thien, born in 1995; Nguyen Van Hoang, born in 1995, both residing in Quynh Lien ward and Phan Van Gioi, born in 1998, residing in Tan Hai block, Quynh Phuong ward.

According to the declaration, the above group of subjects broke into schools three times to steal property. Specifically, at Quynh Lap Secondary School, they broke in, broke the lock and stole 3 sets of computers and 1 printer with a total value of over 35 million VND. At Quynh Lien Kindergarten, they stole 3 sets of computers worth over 32 million VND; and recently at Quynh Lien Primary School, they broke the lock and stole 3 sets of computers and 3 printers worth 41 million VND. The total value of all 3 cases of theft of school equipment was over 100 million VND.
The above subjects confessed that because they had no money for entertainment, personal expenses or playing games, they invited each other to break into schools to break locks and steal school equipment.
Currently, Hoang Mai town police are investigating and expanding the case to handle the subjects according to the law.
Also on the afternoon of April 16, Hoang Mai Town Police said that the agency had just successfully solved a case of buffalo and cow theft involving 3 subjects.

Accordingly, at around 11pm on April 14, Le Dang Hai, born in 1962, living in block 9, Quynh Thien ward; Le Dinh Hien, born in 1963, and Dau Minh Can, born in 1962, all residing in Quynh Trang commune, were planning to sell the stolen buffalo and cows when they were suddenly followed and caught red-handed by the police. The evidence seized at the scene included 10 cows, with a total value of over 180 million VND. Through their statements to the police, the criminals said that the stolen cows were all in Quynh Tan commune, Quynh Luu district. Taking advantage of the mountainous area and deserted roads, so no one was paying attention, the criminals broke into people's houses to steal the cows. After stealing, they would gather the cows in one place and take advantage of the late night to sell them elsewhere. In addition, the subjects also said that they had previously successfully stolen buffalo and cows from local people many times and had sold them in many places.
Currently, the police are continuing to investigate and clarify the case.
