The 7th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival took place from March to May 2014, with the participation of nearly 2,000 athletes from 21 districts, cities, towns and 2 units of the Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command, competing in 18 events. According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee, compared to the previous Games, the organization and quality of achievements have improved, with record-breaking events such as: men's 100m run, women's long jump, men's high jump, women's high jump, men's 50m breaststroke.
