Que Phong: Artistic exchange on the occasion of the Day of Ethnic Cultures
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of April 18th, in Que Phong district, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee, and the People's Committee of Que Phong district jointly organized an art exchange program to celebrate the Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures (April 19th, 2014).
Attending the event were Mr. Lo Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of the district; and a large number of local people.

The cultural exchange program for Vietnam's Ethnic Groups Day featured many outstanding performances by groups of actors from the Provincial Cultural Center and the Provincial Ethnic Music and Dance Troupe. In addition, there were performances of bamboo pole dancing, gong playing, furrow carving, rice wine drinking, and Lam Vong dancing by the ethnic groups of Que Phong district, creating a colorful evening reflecting the beauty of the ethnic cultures in the province.
The art exchange program is an opportunity to honor cultural identity, national pride, and educate about the tradition of loving one's homeland and country. Through this, it enhances responsibility and creates more resources to preserve and further promote the rich and distinctive beauty of national culture. It also serves as a bridge, fostering solidarity among ethnic groups, contributing to strengthening national unity, and building civilized, prosperous, and beautiful villages, homelands, and the country.
