Que Phong: Art exchange on the occasion of Ethnic Culture Day

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of April 18, in Que Phong district, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Ethnic Committee and the People's Committee of Que Phong district jointly organized an art exchange program on the occasion of the Cultural Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups (April 19, 2014).

Attending the event were Mr. Lo Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; district leaders and many people of the district.

Performing arts performance at the exchange

The art exchange program of the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day had many special performances by the group of actors from the Provincial Cultural Center and the Provincial Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe. In addition, there were bamboo dances, gong playing, carving, drinking rice wine, and Lam Vong dances by the ethnic people of Que Phong district, creating a colorful festival reflecting the cultural beauty of the ethnic groups in the province.

The art exchange program is an opportunity to honor cultural identity, national pride, and educate the tradition of loving the homeland and country, thereby enhancing responsibility and creating more resources to preserve and promote the beauty of rich national culture. This is also a bridge connecting and strengthening solidarity among ethnic groups, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the strength of the great national unity bloc, building a civilized and prosperous village, homeland and country.
