Gambling ring busted in Anh Son.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Anh Son District Police have just arrested a group of individuals who were organizing gambling in Duc Son commune, Anh Son district.

Recently, some residents of Duc Son commune, Anh Son district, were very upset because their relatives refused to work in the fields and instead participated in a gambling ring at the house of an individual in the area. After a period of monitoring and gathering information about the group's activities, the police decided to apprehend the entire gambling ring. At 5 PM on April 17, 2014, the Anh Son district police suddenly raided the house of Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1976) in Hamlet 18, Duc Son commune, Anh Son district. Seven individuals were arrested on the spot for gambling: Nguyen Van Hung (the homeowner), Luu Van Tien (born in 1978), Phan Ba ​​Ngan (born in 1973), Nguyen Khac Phuong (born in 1968), Le Thi He (born in 1958), Phan Ba ​​Hien (born in 1973), and Nguyen Van Thuyet (born in 1972), all residing in Duc Son commune, Anh Son district. All the suspects were farmers. The seized evidence included nearly 11 million VND found on the gambling table and on the suspects' persons, along with other items used for gambling.
