Arrest of gambling gang in Anh Son

Recently, some people in Duc Son commune, Anh Son district were very upset because their relatives did not go to the fields to plow but joined a gambling ring at the house of a subject in the area. After a period of monitoring and understanding the situation as well as the rules of operation, the police force was determined to arrest this gambling ring. At 5:00 p.m. on April 17, 2014, the police force of Anh Son district suddenly raided the house of subject Nguyen Van Hung (born 1976) in village 18, Duc Son commune, Anh Son. Here, 7 subjects were arrested on the spot while gambling, including Nguyen Van Hung (homeowner), Luu Van Tien (born 1978), Phan Ba ​​Ngan (born 1973), Nguyen Khac Phuong (born 1968), Le Thi He (born 1958), Phan Ba ​​Hien (born 1973), Nguyen Van Thuyet (born 1972), all residing in Duc Son commune, Anh Son. All subjects were farmers. The seized evidence was nearly 11 million VND on the gambling mat and on the subjects, along with other evidence of gambling tools.
