Fees for sanitation and parking in the province will be adjusted.
(Baonghean) - Implementing Circular No. 02/2014 of the Ministry of Finance on guidance regarding fees and charges, the Department of Finance has submitted to the Provincial People's Committee a plan to increase sanitation fees and parking fees for bicycles, motorbikes, and cars in the province, ensuring the principle of accurate and complete calculation, aiming to cover costs to maintain service activities. It is expected that at the 11th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council, the new regulations will be approved, with the maximum fees for these types of fees increasing by 2 times compared to the current rates.
Accordingly, sanitation fees for households and individuals will be adjusted to 4,000, 3,000, and 2,000 VND per person per month; administrative agencies, public service organizations, and businesses will see an increase of approximately 1.5 times. Daytime parking fees will be applied as follows: 2,000 and 1,000 VND per visit for bicycles and non-motorized vehicles; 2,000 and 3,000 VND per visit for motorbikes and two-wheeled vehicles; and 10,000, 9,000, and 8,000 VND per visit for cars with 7 seats or less (fees will vary depending on the area and level of difficulty). Similarly, nighttime and monthly parking fees are also proposed to increase by approximately 1.5 times compared to current regulations.
For parking facilities at hospitals and schools, the fee is 50% of the prescribed rate. For parking facilities not invested in by the State, but whose projects are approved by competent State agencies and have good parking conditions, the maximum fee shall not exceed twice that of facilities invested in by the State.
