Will adjust sanitation and parking fees in the province
(Baonghean) - Implementing Circular No. 02/2014 of the Ministry of Finance on guidelines on fees and charges, the Department of Finance has just submitted to the Provincial People's Committee a plan to increase the collection of sanitation fees and parking fees for bicycles, motorbikes and cars in the area, ensuring the principle of correct and sufficient calculation, towards compensating for costs to maintain service activities. It is expected that at the 11th session, the Provincial People's Council, term XVI, will pass a new regulation, with the maximum collection level increasing by 2 times compared to the current collection level of the above fees.
Accordingly, the sanitation fee for households and individuals will be adjusted to 4,000; 3,000 VND; 2,000 VND/person/month; for administrative agencies and enterprises, it will increase by about 1.5 times. The daytime parking fee will be applied: 2,000, 1,000 VND/time for bicycles and rudimentary vehicles; 2,000, 3,000 VND/time for motorbikes and 2-wheeled motorbikes; 10,000, 9,000, 8,000 VND/time for cars with 7 seats or less (the collection level is divided by region, depending on the level of difficulty). Similarly, the nighttime parking fee, per month, is also proposed to increase by about 1.5 times compared to current regulations.
For hospitals and schools, the fee is 50% of the above-prescribed fee. For parking facilities not invested by the State, but with projects approved by competent State agencies, and with good parking conditions, the maximum fee is not more than 2 times that of locations invested by the State.
