Nghe An Teacher Training College: Closing Ceremony of the 2011–2014 Course
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 24th, Nghe An College of Education held its closing ceremony for the 2011-2014 academic year and awarded diplomas to 1,468 students in the college and vocational training programs, including 214 students from ethnic minority groups.
Over the years, Nghe An Teacher Training College has continued to innovate and improve the quality of its training and teaching. Each year, the college adjusts its curriculum to better suit the needs of its students, strengthening self-learning and research skills for both teachers and students. This aims to overcome the one-way transmission of knowledge, gradually reducing lessons that are heavily theoretical, lacking in practice, and failing to encourage creativity and real-world application. Student management is increasingly implemented with more measures and solutions to ensure orderliness, integrating political and ideological education, while also creating many practical movements and activities to motivate students to actively study, train, and cultivate knowledge and social skills.
At the end of the course, the entire school had 1,486 students recognized as graduates, accounting for 97.63% of the total number of students eligible to take the graduation exam and be considered for graduation. Of these, among the 667 college-level students graduating this time, 23 achieved excellent grades (3.4%), and 454 achieved good grades (65.5%); the vocational-level students had 819 graduates, of which 11 graduated with excellent grades (1.3%), and 406 graduated with good grades (49%). The number of students graduating from the 2011-2014 course at Nghe An College will contribute to supplementing the trained workforce of Nghe An province in particular and the provinces in general, further enhancing their skills.
