Minister Cao Duc Phat visits economic models in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - During the working program in Nghe An, on the morning of July 21, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat - Member of the Party Central Committee visited models of agricultural production transformation and communes meeting new rural standards (NTM). Accompanying the delegation on the provincial side were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments and branches.
In Dien Chau district, Minister Cao Duc Phat and the delegation visited the concentrated poultry farming model of 7,000 poultry of Mr. Cao Van Cu's family (Hamlet 14 - Dien Trung commune); visited the poultry farm following the Viet GAP model of Mr. Phan Dinh Tu's family (Hamlet 10 - Dien Trung). Also in Dien Chau, the Minister and the delegation visited the land consolidation model in Dien Tho commune.
According to the report of the leaders of Dien Chau District People's Committee, before the conversion, each household here had an average of 7 rice fields, after the conversion, each household only had 1.6 fields, 30% of households only had 1 field. From there, it created conditions for intensive investment and mechanization in production, thereby increasing the economic value per production unit compared to before.
