A woman jumped off the Rỏi bridge to commit suicide.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 14th, Mr. Ha Van Bien, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Hoan commune (Tan Ky district, Nghe An province), reported that a tragic suicide had occurred in the area. The victim was Ms. Nguyen Thi N. (23 years old), residing in Tham hamlet, Nghia Hoan commune.

Earlier, at 7 PM on August 13th, several people traveling on the Rỏi Bridge over the Hiếu River in Tân Kỳ district were shocked to see a woman stop her motorbike on the bridge's side and jump into the river. People shouted for help, but the darkness and strong current rendered their efforts futile.

The information was immediately reported to the authorities, and the victim was identified as Ms. Nguyen Thi N., residing in Tham hamlet, Nghia Hoan commune. That same night, relatives and local authorities organized a search for the victim's body, but without success. It wasn't until early this afternoon, August 14th, that the victim's body was found floating downstream, quite far from the scene.

It is known that Ms. Nguyen Thi N. had only recently gotten married a few months ago and had no children. Local police are investigating the cause of Ms. N.'s suicide.
