A woman jumped off Roi bridge to commit suicide.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 14, Mr. Ha Van Bien, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Hoan Commune (Tan Ky District, Nghe An) said that a tragic suicide had just occurred in the area. The victim was Ms. Nguyen Thi N. (23 years old), residing in Tham Hamlet, Nghia Hoan Commune.
Earlier, at 7:00 p.m. on August 13, some people participating in traffic in the area of Cau Roi bridge across Hieu river in Tan Ky district were startled when they discovered a woman stopping her motorbike on the bridge corridor and then jumping into the river. Everyone called for help, but it was dark and the river water was flowing rapidly, so they were helpless.
The information was immediately reported to the authorities, the victim's identity was identified as Ms. Nguyen Thi N. residing in Tham hamlet, Nghia Hoan commune. That same night, relatives and local authorities organized a search for the victim's body but to no avail. It was not until early afternoon this August 14 that the victim's body was found downstream quite far from the scene.
It is known that Ms. Nguyen Thi N. has been married for a few months now and has no children. Local police are investigating the cause of Ms. N.'s suicide.
