Taylor Swift was honored as 'Woman of the Year'.
"Country music princess" receives the same title from America's leading music magazine, Billboard, for the second time.
The title the singer received was Billboard Woman of the Year. Taylor Swift became the first artist to receive this award twice in the magazine's history.
"As one of the most influential artists of her generation, Taylor Swift has achieved incredible success on the Billboard charts," said Janice Min, co-president and chief creative officer of Guggenheim Media, the parent company of Billboard.
"Throughout her career, Taylor has charted on the Billboard Hot 100 60 times – the most of any female artist since she entered the music industry in 2006. We are thrilled to be awarding her this title for the second time," Janice Min continued.

According to the magazine, this annual award is given to "female artists who have shaped and driven the music industry through their success, pioneering spirit, and musical innovation over the past 12 months."
Taylor Swift has won seven Grammy Awards. She is the only female artist in music history to have two albums sell one million copies in their first week (Speak Now in 2010 and Red in 2012). Taylor's latest single, Shake it Off, became her second number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, following We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Taylor will receive the award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards on December 12th in New York, USA.
