(Baonghean.vn) - Although the Howo truck's bed had been cut, it continued to reconnect the cut bed to run and was then arrested by the inspector.

On the afternoon of November 7, on Mai Hac De Street, Vinh City, Nghe An Department of Transport inspectors caught a Howo car in circulation. It is worth mentioning that this car had just had its bed cut down but the owner reattached it to continue circulating.

Car 37C 08422 was arrested this afternoon.

Mr. Phan Huy Chuong, Deputy Chief Traffic Inspector, said that the car with license plate 37C 08422 of Ngoc Han Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, headquartered in Nghi Duc Commune, Vinh City, was driven by driver Nguyen Huu Ty (30 years old), residing in Dien Chau District. When arrested, driver Ty insisted that the car had an accident a month ago and had just been detained, so the truck bed had not been cut yet, and the truck bed had never been cut.

However, the Department of Transport inspector concluded that the truck had been forced to cut down the extended bed a few months ago, and the owner had just reconnected the joint, and the joint was still very new. The original height of the truck bed was 0.6m, but the owner had now extended it to 1.5m.

In this case, a record of administrative violations will be made, forcing the return of the original dimensions of the vehicle's body, and the registration stamp and road maintenance fund stamp will be confiscated," said Mr. Phan Huy Chuong.

According to the Deputy Inspector, this is the first case of a vehicle with an extended bed that had been removed and then expanded again for circulation that was discovered and seized in Nghe An.

Previously, on November 3 in Nghe An, for the first time, the Vietnam Road Administration coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An province to sign a commitment not to load goods onto overloaded vehicles for freight hubs and transport businesses.
