The 1087 hotline is the first tourism information hotline in Vietnam, providing tourism information and products in both Vietnamese and English.

This morning, the Department of Tourism and the Department of Information and Communications, in coordination with VNPT Ho Chi Minh City, announced the launch of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Information Hotline – Hotline 1087.

Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Le Quoc Cuong, is testing the connection with the 1087 Tourism Hotline for tourism information.

The 1087 hotline is the first tourism information hotline in Vietnam, providing tourism information and products in both Vietnamese and English. In addition to introducing destinations, scenic spots, traditions, cultural identity, and regional tour programs across the country, the 1087 hotline also connects directly with travel agencies and allows customers to book tickets according to their needs. Furthermore, in case of any security incidents during tourism, visitors can call the 1087 hotline for guidance on contacting relevant authorities for assistance.

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Le Manh Ha delivered a directive speech.

Mr. Le Quoc Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, said: “The project to develop public tourism information infrastructure includes the 1087 hotline and information telephone stations. With these two means, we will provide people with convenient information on cultural and tourism topics, as well as convenience in using tourism products, thereby promoting tourism development, a key economic sector of the city.”
