Six Vietnamese feature films will be screened in Hawaii, Washington DC and New York during Vietnamese Film Week in the United States (July 4-18).

The Vietnam Cinema Department said that 6 feature films, including: "Lottery" (comedy, directed by Dustin Nguyen), "Aspiration for Thang Long" (legendary epic, directed by Luu Trong Ninh), "The Village Children" (film about war and resolving hatred, directed by Nguyen Duc Viet), psychological-action films: "Blind Knight" (directed by Luu Huynh), "Red Carpet Secret" (directed by Victor Vu) and "Returning Glory" (Victor Vu) will be introduced to American audiences.

The above 6 films were ordered by the State or invested in and produced by private film studios. They are films that have won domestic and international awards or are loved by audiences with content that reflects the history, culture, country and people of Vietnam.

On the other hand, many of the film's settings are famous cultural tourist attractions and natural heritages, which will contribute to promoting the filming potential in Vietnam.

In addition to promoting Vietnamese cinema, the film week also introduces a clip about Vietnam tourism at the locations where the 6 films are introduced, which are: Doris Duke Cinema (Hawaii), Freer and Sackler Galleries Cinema (Washington DC) and AMC Cinema (New York).

Within the framework of Film Week, the Ao Dai Festival and a party introducing Vietnamese culture, culinary tourism will be held on the coast of Hawaii...

The organization of Vietnam Film Week in the United States is an activity in response to the 20th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
