"Reviving" vintage style in Autumn/Winter fashion.

Revived in the Autumn/Winter 2015 collections of Céline, Prada, and Burberry, the 70s fashion trend is sure to continue to strongly influence style in the coming months.

If you love the inspiration from those romantic, whimsical years, you've probably already stocked up on a lot of 70s-style clothing and accessories since the Spring/Summer season.

When autumn arrives, changing your wardrobe won't be too difficult. There are a few items you'll need to buy new, but they're fairly basic in style, so they're expected to last until next autumn.

1. Full denim outfit

Denim is one of the signature materials of 1970s fashion. This past Spring/Summer season, denim dresses and overalls were very popular.

But on cooler early autumn days, switch to a two-piece denim outfit, the simplest being a chambray (denim-colored fabric) top paired with jeans.

If it's a nice day, you can also choose to wear wide-leg jeans with a sexy, youthful cropped denim top.

On a windy day, a complete denim outfit with a jacket will make you stand out and look incredibly stylish.

If you don't feel completely comfortable in an all-green outfit, you can layer it with a darker-colored jacket or add a black belt to "adjust" the look.

2. Add a suede jacket.

As predicted at the end of last year, Fall 2015 marked the "rise" of suede jackets reminiscent of 1970s fashion.

You can flexibly combine a suede jacket with more modern outfits or "stay true" to a vintage look by pairing it with a denim shirt or a full denim outfit.

You can also wear a suede jacket with a black dress or top for a warmer and neater look.

Avoid choosing long coats; opt for coats that extend just past the hips to maintain simplicity and prolong the trend's longevity.

3. Thin scarves

Long, slender scarves are currently one of the most talked-about accessories in fashion magazines.

The graceful and lightweight nature of this scarf style makes it easy to combine with all kinds of outfits, whether on hot or cool days, without feeling heavy.

The proper way to tie a scarf in the style of the 70s is to loosely knot it to one side, letting the ends hang down, but you can also choose to tie the ends in the middle or drape them around your neck so that the ends are parallel.

4. Structured dress

Thick, structured fabrics like suede, thick velvet, and faux leather will create dresses that truly capture the spirit of the 70s.

Choose bold, warm tones like red, orange-brown, or yellow-orange, paired with black or earthy browns to create a classic and warm look.

You'll definitely want to wait for a slightly cooler day to wear this type of dress. Pair it with your favorite boots, whether knee-high or ankle boots!

5. Patchwork details

These somewhat haphazardly pieced-together details are precisely what embodies the free-spirited, bohemian essence of the 1970s.

If you don't want to dress too elaborately, you can choose an outfit that combines multiple blocks of color like patches, rather than actual patchwork.

And if you're a true wanderlust enthusiast, you can create your own unique patchwork outfits.

The most stylish patchwork outfit is denim. You can use leftover fabric to patch up your jeans, or use a different shade of denim to patch up an old denim jacket.

6. Wide-brimmed felt hat

The straw hats were replaced by wide-brimmed hats made of soft felt.

Besides the most popular dark brown shade, you now have the option of a wide-brimmed hat in a sophisticated yet classic burgundy color.

There are no limits when choosing what to wear with a wide-brimmed hat, and you don't need to worry about whether it's raining or sunny to wear one.

Sometimes, you simply wear a wide-brimmed hat to keep your hair from blowing in the wind or to cover up hair that hasn't been washed in a while.

7. Fringe vest

Actually, the fringe trend is no longer very popular for the Autumn/Winter 2015 season.

But if you already have a fringed vest from the Spring/Summer season, you can still repurpose it for the Autumn/Winter season in a fresh new way.

Try to tone down the fringe by pairing it with simple black or white outfits, and keep accessories to a minimum!

8. Gold pendant

A necklace with a gold-plated or solid gold pendant will add a touch of elegance to your outfit.

A gold necklace will stand out beautifully against a black outfit, so you can easily create a 70s vibe without buying a lot of elaborate clothing.

Pair a long chain necklace with a wide-neck or low-cut top, and choose a short chain necklace for a turtleneck to create a balanced and striking look.
