Lenovo's affordable phablet duo launched

Lenovo Phab Plus and Phab will be available on November 10 with prices starting at 4 million VND.

Lenovo's two new products are a combination of phone and tablet with a screen size of nearly 7 inches but a neat design for easy holding and use with one hand.

Lenovo Phab Plus has a solid metal body, 6.8-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution and is only 7.6 mm thin. Lenovo's giant smartphone looks quite similar to an enlarged iPhone 6s when viewed from behind. The device is large, so to make it easier to use with one hand, Lenovo added some utilities such as the keyboard automatically tilting to both sides, or shrinking the screen by writing the letter C, or virtual keys to quickly activate functions.

Lenovo Phab Plus is also an Android smartphone with good configuration. The device runs Lollipop 5.1 and uses an 8-core Snapdragon 615 chip, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and has a memory card slot that can be expanded up to 64GB. The front and rear cameras have resolutions of 5 and 13 "dots" respectively. The battery has a capacity of 3,500 mAh for quite impressive operating time with continuous talk time of up to a day. Qualcomm's battery saving technology allows the device to operate in standby mode for up to 20 days.

The remaining model is Phab with a price of 4 million VND, which will be on shelves a week after Phab Plus in two colors: black and white. Although Lenovo Phab is cheaper, it is equipped with a 6.98-inch screen and a 4,250 mAh battery. Lenovo Phab is still monolithic and beautiful, but the back is made of Polycarbonate with a rough surface, making it more comfortable to hold than Phab Plus.

The screen resolution is reduced to HD standard but still has an IPS LCD panel. The front and rear cameras have the same resolution as the Phab Plus. However, the configuration only uses a 1.2 GHz quad-core chip with 1GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to a 64 GB memory card.

In addition to the large screen, good design and stable configuration, the Lenovo Phab Plus and Phab duo both have a large volume speaker system with Dolby Atmos technology. Both models support 2 SIM cards and 2 waves with 4G LTE connection.
