Cement tanker truck plunges into field.

(Baonghean.vn) - At 11 PM on April 14th, a cement tanker truck was traveling on National Highway 1A from Vinh to Hanoi when suddenly an oncoming car shone its headlights directly at the driver, blinding him and causing the cement tanker truck to swerve into a rice field.

The accident occurred at kilometer 399+250 (in Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province). The driver, Nguyen Tien Hiep (born in 1982, residing in Do Luong town, Nghe An), was driving a truck with license plate 37V-2407 carrying cement tanks on its way back from a construction project. Fortunately, the driver only sustained minor injuries.

Traffic police are directing traffic and clearing the scene.

The accident occurred at night, causing a prolonged traffic jam. Police Team 1/5 of the Nghe An Traffic Police Department promptly diverted traffic and carried out rescue operations. By 11:00 AM on April 15th, the damaged vehicle had been towed away from the scene.
